Mauka Ranches I
Oahu, Hawaii

Mauka Ranches are located in the Kahuku community on the north shore of Oahu. The north shore area is famous for its lush green vistas of mountains and sweeping views of the ocean, and for its deep Aloha spirit. Some of the best golfing and surfing in the world can be found here, as well as world-class shopping and dining. Wandering through Kahuku also reveals the rich cultural and agricultural history of the area.

Years ago, this sunny paradise between the ocean and mountains was home to numerous sugarcane plantations. Sugarcane is no longer grown here at Kahuku, but the area’s deep agricultural tradition is still this day being carried on, from fields of golden Kahuku corn and shrimp farms, to greenhouses full of exotic flowers and farms bearing organic fruits and vegetables. Wandering through Kahuku, this rich tradition is evident in the many shrimp stalls and colorful roadside shops here.

This area is still considered as one of the most scenic locations in all the islands, and Kahuku today is home to numerous public parks, gardens, and wildlife areas that feature endless unspoiled natural beauty.

Kahuku is a natural playground that offers unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities. Oahu’s internationally-renowned Turtle Bay Resort is also located in Kahuku. At almost nine hundred acres, including the legendary Arnold Palmer and George Fazio championship golf courses, the resort is a destination for golfers, surfers, and pleasure-seekers from across the globe. The resort recently revealed a new plan to construct 3,500 new hotel and condominium units, new beach access points, more public parks, and major upgrades to roads within and around the resort property, including Marconi Road.
